Wilson launches reelection campaign

Simcoe-Grey Progressive Conservative candidate Jim Wilson launched his bid for reelection yesterday by up his first lawn signs in Wasaga Beach, Stayner, Alliston and Beeton.
“I want to thank my friends and supporters Mike Krizanc, Bob Coxon, Jim Hunter and Ken and Mary MacDonald for putting up my first signs of the campaign,” said Wilson.
Wilson said the current campaign is one of the most important in Ontario’s history.
“This election is about an important choice. The PC Party is campaigning for the people and talking about issues that matter to hard working citizens like: lower hydro rates, bringing jobs back to Ontario and improving health care,” said Wilson.
The PC Party under the leadership of Doug Ford, Wilson said, has a great plan for the people of Ontario including: cleaning up the hydro mess, putting money back into the pockets of hard working citizens, restoring responsibility, accountability and trust in government, bringing jobs back to Ontario and ending hallway health care.
“I will continue to fight for the re-development of Collingwood General and Marine Hospital and Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston. It’s time for these projects to move forward to ensure our residents receive the best possible health care now and in the future,” said Wilson. “My party is also promising to end hallway health care. We are committed to building 15,000 new long-term care beds in five years and 30,000 new beds over the next 10 years.”
